Annex 7: Connection Agreement

A Connection Agreement shall be signed by the customer upon submission of Proof of Order and Technical Details of the SSDG equipment to the CEB.

Purpose of the Connection Agreement

The Connection Agreement establishes the terms and conditions between the applicant and the Central Electricity Board for the connection of the Small Scale Distributed Generation (SSDG) system to the CEB grid.

When is it Signed?

According to Step 5 of the Connection Process (Chapter 2), the applicant signs a Connection Agreement upon submission of:

  • Proof of Firm Order placed with supplier/manufacturer
  • Technical Details of the SSDG equipment
Important: This agreement must be signed before installation begins. It formalizes the commitment between the SSDG owner and the CEB and outlines the obligations of both parties throughout the connection process and operational period.
